Agencie was hired as Owners Representative for the City of Lauderhill for the design and construction of a new 1,100 seat Lauderhill Performing Arts Center in Lauderhill, Florida. This project was funded in part by the City of Lauderhill, and in part by the State of Florida…before the great recession. Seven years later it is nearing completion and we are very proud of our role on this project, where we worked side by side with the political and community leaders of the city of Lauderhill.

It wasn’t always a big building affair for us. Design Build became our favorite delivery method for projects gradually. The first such project was a design and construction for Paul Goldberger, a New York Times architecture critic, when he was introduced as Dean of the Parsons School of Design.
You can imagine our anxiety at holding the helm to this small but important project. We’re proud to say this project led to a series of other design build commissions, including a townhouse for film maker Darren Aronofsky, headquarters for a specialty print house, a series of clinics for an ophthalmology practice, and many additions and enlargements to buildings on all sides (side, rear, top).
